Video is no longer just the domain of tape formats
but can now be presented on DVD, VCD, CD or through the Internet. We can
capture files from any videotape and convert them to different digital
formats such as MPEG, AVI & QuickTime as well as streaming media for
web delivery. Encoded video is commonly used for multimedia projects,
PowerPoint presentations, & web content.
Video files can be compressed to small file sizes for approvals through email. This process is invaluable for clients that may be interstate or overseas and still need to see the final version for approval. Ideally, this process is best suited for shorter sequences and is most commonly used for commercials & animation sequences.
Still frames or pictures can be taken from any
videotape for use in printed promotional materials, PowerPoint presentations
& web sites.
Digital File To Tape Transfer
Engineering consultants, Architects, and Multimedia
designers often have to transfer their work from the computer to videotape
at the highest possible quality. Examples of these have included animated
sequences for TV shows and fly-throughs of buildings before they are built.
Our infrastructure allows us to quickly and efficiently transfer material
from file to video tape with minimum quality loss.
Interactive CD Authoring
CD is still commonly referred to as a format
for audio but is also well suited as a data storage and delivery option
for many applications. For example, a CD placed in a computer can play
a video, display an Annual Report, link to a website, display brochures,
or guide the user through complete interactive training session/s. Many
clients have used the promotional benefits of the CD by adding a link
to their web site, giving the audience another updated source of information
for the organisation.

DVD Encoding & Authoring
DVD is well known for movies and now it's possible
and economical to burn video to DVD at MPEG2 which approaches the quality
of broadcast television. DVD is proving an alternative for video delivery
by providing better quality than VHS without the usual wear and tear of
tape. This means that for looping promotional videos at trade shows or
in-store presentations, a DVD is going to provide better results and value
for money than the VHS option.
Another use for DVD is in corporate presentations. Rather than taking your chances on VHS machines being in the right standard, or struggling with playback straight from a computer, DVD now allows for full quality video running full screen from the DVD drive of a computer. DVD also gives you the advantage of random access; in the situation that you need to start the video again, or jump straight to a specific chapter, you have complete control to step forward or backward to the correct section with a minimum of fuss.
